The Girls

On 31st May 2006, we flew the local Bath band "The Girls" made up of Steven Evansson and Joseph Short, featuring Andrew "Mushroom" Vowles from Massive Attack, Clive Deamer and Jon Head for a special feature for Future Music magazine. The project was to prove that with modern technology you can record music anywhere. In the process we also achieved two Guinness World Records for the Highest Concert & Highest Recorded Song at an altitude of 1,848m (6,063ft).
The balloon took off from Royal Victoria Park in Bath and landed in Westbury, Wiltshire. During the hour long flight they recorded their single "What I did today". Click below to listen.
